Short Bio: Kamsinah joined Tasek in February 2022 and brings with her almost 6 years’ experience in the social service sector and over 10 years’ experience in the private sector. Trained in accountancy, human resource and leadership, Kamsinah is a keen learner and who subscribes to servant stewardship and reflective practices. An introvert at heart, she enjoys quiet moments with individuals where relationships can develop.
Short Bio: Sufri joined Tasek in June 2021 after volunteering as a mentor for its football programme. With over ten years of experience in education and youth development as a teacher, adjunct lecturer, and life skills trainer, he brings a wealth of expertise to his role. As Lead Manager, Sufri integrates evidence-based practices into programme development to achieve impactful and sustainable outcomes. He values teamwork and shared decision-making, fostering a collaborative environment where ideas and solutions are co-created with his team and stakeholders. Currently pursuing a part-time PhD in Positive Youth Development, Sufri applies a strength-based and autonomy-support approach to create empowering environments that promote youth’s personal growth and meaningful contributions to the community.
Short Bio: Suhaimi joined Tasek Jurong in January 2023 after volunteering to teach and mentor the children and youth in the community the previous year. He champions the holistic development of the young and personally believes that education is like an escalator for social mobility with technology as an enabler. Prior to this, Suhaimi worked on edtech policies, oversaw mental wellbeing and led teams in designing innovative solutions to wicked problems. Suhaimi strives to improve himself everyday to be a better person at home for his family, at work with his colleagues and in the community for those he serves.

Short Bio: Ain joined Tasek Jurong in February 2022. Prior to that, she volunteered weekly as an academic coach to post-secondary students in the engineering field. While Ain’s training is in research in Biomedical Engineering, she believes wholly that everyone can succeed (in their own definitions of success) in the right environment. Her alignment to Tasek Jurong’s mission of finding strengths in people has guided her approach. Ain believes in taking on a collaborative approach with other community partners to share resources and tap on each other’s strength, all to achieve the goal of uplifting the community.
Short Bio: Doreen hopes that her many years of knowledge and experience in Office Administration and Board Governance are assets to Tasek in fulfilling its mission. The thought of being a part of the team that works hard to uplift the disadvantaged becomes her driving force to do more for the needy. To destress, Doreen loves to read, jog, and bake the occasional festive treat.
Short Bio: Raji is our Admin Executive with 8 years of relevant working experience. Known for being hardworking and friendly, she enjoys learning and feels proud to join Tasek where she can learn and help others simultaneously. Raji finds solace in gardening, nature, travelling, and helping others.
Short Bio: Darwis brings a wealth of experience in sports rehabilitation and high-performance management to his role as Head of the Tasek Sailors East Football Programme. He began his career at the Singapore Sports Institute as a sports rehabilitation trainer, where he played a pivotal role in helping national athletes recover and regain peak performance. Before joining Tasek, he contributed significantly to the Basketball Association of Singapore, managing training and competition preparations for the 3×3 and 5v5 national basketball teams. With his extensive background, Darwis is dedicated to leveraging his expertise to empower Tasek’s beneficiaries and drive positive impact.
Short Bio: It takes a village to empower children, youths and families. A tagline that Sakinah holds on strongly to in the work with the community. With a Bachelor in Social Work and her vast work experiences in a Family Service Centre (FSC) and Child Protection Specialist Centre (CPSC), not only does she hopes to continue bringing her skills and expertise to making a difference in the lives of our community, she also hopes to continue journeying and supporting young social workers in honing quality skills and knowledge to continue the work with children, youth and families.
Short Bio: In her past life, Seline was a full-time communications professional and part-time cat slave. While she is still a cat slave now, she has since made a career switch to practise social work and is currently enrolled in the Career Conversion Programme (CCP) to pursue her Graduate Diploma in Social Work at SUSS. Outside of work, she is a big football fan and believes that nobody should ever walk alone. During her free time, she enjoys exercising – going on hikes, running in parks, or playing futsal with her friends. She sincerely believes that everyone should keep the childlike side of themselves alive, because life is too short to be overly serious. Her idea of a perfect, relaxing day is to sit by the mountains sipping tea while reading a good book.
Short Bio: I’m Aaqil, an enthusiastic and dedicated individual with a passion for continuous learning and personal growth. I thrive on connecting with people and embracing diverse experiences. I enjoy listening to music, sports and learning new languages. Lastly, my love for cats is everlasting.
Short Bio: Darwisy, affectionately known as Weezy, is a dedicated and passionate lover of the outdoors. With a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from the University at Buffalo, earned in 2021, he brings a unique perspective to his outdoor pursuits. Darwisy has dedicated over 7 years to the outdoor industry and now serves as the Programme Manager overseeing camps. When he’s not immersed in the outdoors or in camps, he indulges his love for anime and has a penchant for lame jokes that keep those around him entertained.
Short Bio: Gayathiri is part of the Programmes Team at Tasek. She graduated from NUS with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. She embarked on a career within the social service sector as she attains a sense of fulfilment in serving the community. Her previous role as a Speech and Drama Teacher has given her the exposure of working with children, which she is able to apply in her role at Tasek. Gaya enjoys performing and wishes to further develop her interest and maybe become a Zumba instructor one day!
Short Bio: After living overseas in her young adult years, Kaira found herself drawn back to Singapore and working with Special Needs children after her return. Driven by her passion to serve in the social service sector, Kaira joined Tasek as a Programme Manager in February 2024. Rest assured she will give you the best coffee recommendations or you can find her chasing after a Netball on the weekends.
Short Bio: Aidil transitioned from a six-year career as an Army Specialist Instructor and Physical Training Instructor to pursue his dream of becoming a footballer. While his playing career was short-lived, he discovered his true passion in coaching, dedicating over 22 years to youth development both on and off the pitch. Aidil holds an AFC “A” Coaching License and has coached at Geylang International FC, Albirex Niigata Singapore F.C., and the Football Association of Singapore’s Junior Centre of Excellence. His international coaching experience includes stints in Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. Beyond coaching, Aidil enjoys Frappuccino coffee, golf, and travelling.
Short Bio: Hannah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Science and Management from Nanyang Technological University, bringing extensive expertise in youth football development. She has refined her skills through internships with the Football Association of Singapore and SportCares, the philanthropic arm of Sport Singapore. Outside of work, Hannah trains and competes in football at a local club. Her diverse experiences and deep passion for the sport uniquely position her to lead and elevate Tasek’s football programme.
Short Bio: Meet Barath, a compassionate Social Work Associate on a transformative journey. Barath graduated from NUS with a Bachelor’s in Environmental Engineering in 2016 but recently discovered his calling to enrich lives and empower individuals to overcome challenges and is currently pursuing his Graduate Diploma in Social Work at SUSS under the Career Conversion Programme (CCP). Beyond the workplace, Barath enjoys volunteering, reading, and watching K-dramas.
Short Bio: Nadiah completed her Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) in NUS (2006) and post-graduate diplomas in Education (NIE) (2008), Social Work (NUS) (2015) and Counselling Practice (Counselling and Care Centre) (2021). She has also completed her foundation certificates in Play Therapy and Sandplay and Symbol Work. Before joining Tasek in March 2023, she was working in a Family Service Centre (FSC) and was a MOE secondary school teacher. In her spare time, she loves listening to music, cycling and reading.
Short Bio: Shankari strongly believes that everyone has a chance to rebuild their lives and she strives to instill hope and positivity in the community, especially through her role as an Outreach Executive and Co-IC for the Football Girls programme at Tasek. Shankari’s ability to empathise and provide active listening value adds to her work at Tasek. Shankari loves what she does at Tasek as she not only gets to connect and interact with people from all walks of life but she also has the chance to uplift spirits of those who are going through adversities in life. This gives Shankari a deeper meaning to her work and a sense of fulfilment in life as it aligns with her personal tagline: To spread love and good vibes only🌻 Outside work, Shankari loves spending time with her family and enjoys nature and adventures. She also does boxing or dancing to distress.
Short Bio: Graduated from NTU Mathematics and Economics (Hons), Yi Jie started working at Tasek in February 2022. In his leisure time, Yi Jie likes to volunteer and explore various food cuisines around Singapore.
Short Bio: Azeanna joined Tasek as KidSTART Practitioner in March 2024. She is passionate about positively influencing the well-being of children with varying and special needs.
Azeanna graduated with MEd. Developmental Psychology (NTU-NIE), BEd. Special Education (Flinders Uni.) and BSc. Psychology (Uni of Southern Queensland). Being motivated by her experiences working in SpEd and early childhood settings, she hopes to spread joy and compassion while providing support to all children of Tasek. Her self-care regimes include taking long walks, reading and a good cup of coffee!
Short Bio: Syarini is a graduate of Communication and Sociology from University at Buffalo (SIM) with a passion for humanities and the arts. She’s been with Tasek since July 2020 and spends her free time reading and tending to her numerous plants.
Short Bio: Upon completing her Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Southeast Asian Studies at the National University of Singapore, Si Yun joined Tasek in February 2022. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and watching Netflix. She hopes to enable and empower those around her, to be a source of positive energy as they discover and achieve their potential.
Short Bio: Huda completed her Bachelor of Social Work (Hons) in Singapore University of Social Sciences in 2021 and joined Tasek in February 2022. During her free time, Huda likes to read (or do some window shopping at bookstores), spends time in nature and finds cat-themed trinkets to add on to her collection.
Short Bio: Shirley graduated from NTU with a Bachelor’s in Material Engineering in 2022. Through volunteering, she discovered that her values and beliefs revolved around the idea that all children deserve to thrive in a nurturing and loving environment. This led her to pursue a career in the social service sector. In 2023, she completed her Graduate Diploma in Social Work with NUS. Shirley joined Tasek in September 2023. Outside of work, she enjoys language learning and dedicates her free time to volunteering.
Short Bio: Graduated with a degree in Sociology, Xin Yi has been with Tasek since October 2023. She finds deep meaning in uplifting the lives of others and is passionate about contributing to the community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones and exploring new places!
Short Bio: Norsyiqa is a dynamic and compassionate individual with a passion for advocacy and empowerment. With a diverse range of interests, from sports and watching F1 to photography and enjoying beaches, Norsyiqa finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. She is a dedicated advocate for people in need, particularly those with disabilities, and is driven by a belief in the potential of children as the future leaders. Her journey includes significant roles in the healthcare, education, and social service sector. Norsyiqa is also an enthusiastic member of her community, volunteering actively since 2014 with Tasek and other organisations. Her qualities of resilience, determination, and a lifelong commitment to learning are what keeps her going. She aspires to make a lasting difference in the lives of others, a pursuit that brings profound purpose and meaning to her life.
Short Bio: Ming Yuan is an Assistant Volunteer Manager with SG Cares Volunteer Centre @ Jurong, operated by Tasek. With a background in public policy, he strives to build a caring and inclusive society by bridging the strengths of volunteers with the needs of community partners. This includes ongoing collaboration with community partners to develop volunteer-run initiatives to empower those in need. Outside work, he enjoys reading and exploring scenic roads on bicycle.
Short Bio: After graduating from University, Weiyu joined the corporate world and found herself missing her volunteering days which prompted her to join Tasek. She likes connecting volunteers with meaningful opportunities to make a positive impact in the community. Outside of work, Weiyu finds pleasure in reading (although finishing a book becomes increasingly challenging as time passes), online shopping and taking leisure walks with her family. Her foremost goal is to adopt a furry feline.
