Tasek Academy has been appointed by KidSTART Limited as the social service agency supporting the KidSTART programme in the Taman Jurong and Boon Lay regions since 2020.
It is a free national programme that provides upstream support to empower families with less resources to give their children a good start in life through antenatal support at the pregnancy stage to one-on-one post-natal support by equipping parents with child developmental tips and family bonding opportunities.
To date, KidSTART @ Tasek Academy has reached out to more than 900 children through door-to-door and community outreach efforts. We have also been supporting more than 600 children through home visits.
Beyond home visits, we proactively engage families to reinforce child development knowledge and provide opportunities for caregivers to practise parent-child interactions. This is done through quarterly activities that include library visits, nature walks and fun family outings.
